Giving back at Argentina’s Best Hunting
As hunters reflect on their blessings during their time in Argentina, may they also consider ways to give back and contribute to the preservation of these cherished landscapes and traditions. Whether through supporting conservation initiatives, advocating for responsible hunting practices, or simply spreading awareness about the importance of protecting our natural resources, hunters can play a vital role in ensuring that future generations can continue to enjoy the wonders of the outdoors.
It’s heartening to hear that some hunters are interested in giving back to the local community during their time at Estancia Cortaderas. Supporting charitable initiatives is a meaningful way to make a positive impact and contribute to the well-being of those in need.
ABH’s support for the Charity founded by Father Henry Williams, and now run by Sister Maria Lujan and Sister Alicia, demonstrates a commitment to making a difference in the lives of poor and orphaned children in the nearby village of Hernandarias.
By supporting this Charity, Argentina’s Best Hunting is helping to provide essential resources, support, and opportunities for vulnerable children, empowering them to thrive and build brighter futures, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need, and contributing to building a brighter future for the local community.
Father Henry’s initiatives, including the orphanage and the parochial school for underprivileged children, are shining examples of the power of community collaboration and charitable giving. By providing essential services and opportunities for education, recreation, and personal development, these institutions are making a profound impact on the lives of vulnerable children in the local community.
It’s heartwarming to hear that the orphanage provides all meals and offers a variety of activities such as schooling, sports, dance, and chess to the children under its care. These activities not only contribute to the physical and emotional well-being of the children but also help nurture their talents and interests, providing them with opportunities for growth and enrichment.

The support received from donations, both from the local neighborhood and from visitors like the guests at Argentina’s Best Hunting,, is invaluable in sustaining these initiatives. Every contribution, no matter how small, plays a significant role in ensuring that the orphanage and parochial school can continue to operate and provide essential services to those in need.
Donating US dollars and visiting the orphanage near Estancia Cortaderas are both meaningful ways to contribute to Father Henry’s initiatives and support the children in need.

Our Kids Trip of a Lifetime
We took our 7 and 11 year old sons to the Lodge. All 4 of us went dove hunting. We had the best time with our guide Omar he took great care of us driving us to and from airport and to his honey holes! Caroline who made our reservations for flights, lodging and just all around trip coordination was quick to respond and answered all of our questions. The bird boys had a great time with our young sons and we always felt safe and had so much fun with them. I truly think they enjoyed going out with our sons. The lodgings were great and the food was impeccable! Our kids loved the food and tried every single thing. It was fine dining every night with snacks after the hunt. We loved it and our sons said it was the best trip of their life and they have had some pretty epic ones but this is their top!

The absolute best.
I only give 5 stars because that’s the highest option. We would give 10 stars if possible. The most phenomenal trip of my life and we can’t wait to come back! The most wonderful people, phenomenal meals, dramatic scenery, and unbelievable hunting. Paul and his crew are the best in the business.

August hunt
Great lodge and excellent food. Guns did not work consistently. Would not return without bringing my own gun. I wanted to bring my own gun but it was strongly suggested I leave mine at home and use the lodges guns. Overall shooting was excellent and the guides were superior.

What a great trip and experience
What a fantastic experience. 5 Star food and accommodations. The hunts are what you read about and really experience. Treated like a king from the airport and back. Will do it again! Cater to any needs. The meals are fantastic. Not to mention the deserts. Lunch outside overlooking the river as well as in the field is fantastic.

Experience of a lifetime
Great food, drinks, a responsive and friendly staff, and of course terrific hunting sites and guides to match. The rooms were large and accommodating, the dining and living room areas allowed for circulation and wonderful socializing with our group of 16. A memorable experience we'll try to repeat at EC. Extreme disappointment
Food was good and sometimes very good . Lack of communication between staff and guests very evident . No one knew when dinner was to be as it was a moving target . Should be posted . Evening appetizers very sparse and weak . For 1000$ usd/day expect a lot more quality and better presentation. We brought our wives so they could fish dorado they fished 1 day and charged us for 5 days. Was supposed to hunt perdiz 2times only was taken 1 time. Field shooting only had 1 shotgun that needed lots of repair . I’ve been to Argentina 15x and ALWAYS have had 2-3 guns in field.poor poor communication with field manager . No schedules or a plan ! Always last minute Rush !

Cortaderas- The best getting better
Estancia Cortaderas, once again did not disappoint. Our last visit to Cortaderas delivered all aspects of a true Mixed Bag hunting lodge with the highest level of service, hospitality and hunting. The hunting staff, Omar, Chavo, Axel, Brian and the rest of the guides were exceptional. The lodge staff. lead by Paul James, provided a seamless guest experience. Lastly, the food experience, in both the field and at the lodge, simply world class Argentine cuisine.

Hunting trip of a lifetime
Five star resort for Argentina standards with incredible customer service. The hunting was epic and the food was even better. Every employee made you feel like you were the owner of the place. Can’t wait to go back next year.
