Pinkston group – Real stories
After so many years (35 to be exact), they still keep coming to shoot in Argentina, and this time chose us, Argentina’s Best Hunting, to experience a new dove hunting trip, where they could also hunt pigeons, and do some freshwater Dorado fishing! Everything out of the same lodge.
Once they arrive at Buenos Aires International airport, Ezeiza (EZE), they were met by our representative, and transferred to the hotel downtown Buenos Aires, and enjoyed an evening/night at Buenos Aires.
The day after, we picked them up at the hotel and transferred to the domestic airport, Aeroparque (AEP) to get the AR #1712 flight to Santa Fe Airport, where we were waiting for them to drive to Estancia Cortaderas, about 1 hour drive from the airport.
On the arrival there was a mishap, since one of the passport was lost. Which after some calls to airline, airport, and transfer service, on the 3rd day luckily it appeared, the police at the Airport kept it in custody. So the Guest could go back home with no problem at all (avoided the Embassy, appointment, formalities, etc.).
On their arrival day, after a delicious lunch, they start the longed hunting trip! A dove hunt was organized, and then time to relax and enjoy the drinks, meals and overviewing the Parana River from the outside galleries of the lodge. On Sunday, a full pigeon day program, wake up very early to leave the lodge at 6 am! A full hunting day, with lunch out in the field, hammocks to relax after a great asado, again hunting in the afternoon, until the rain decided to stopped them and forced to return to the lodge, with a little mud on the way back. Massages to complete the relax time were organized every day.
Monday morning, a Dorado fishing program was waiting for the group, and after lunch and a little nap, another dove hunt. On the next and last day, a short dove hunt in the morning, then back to the lodge and get ready and packed to go back home, after a great and complete brunch including great empanadas, leave for the airport at 11:30 am, catch the AR #2711 flight to AEP, pick up lost and found passport and then transferred to EZE Int’l by our representative, to get the AA flight home.
Meanwhile during this hunting & fishing program: a father, 2 sons and 2 friends, greatly enjoy their stay, also said “we have never seen so many doves as we have here”, also really loved the fishing adventure, something new for them; they will come back, but next time will be for a Mix Bag program (May thru August), adding duck and partridge hunts to the program.
Something that we cannot leave out, is that Mr. Pinkston is 86 years old! Really a passion for hunting and fishing, enviable! Thanks for choosing us, and we are waiting for you in your next hunting and fishing adventure!
