Malalcue lodge
Malalcue is located in Esquina, Province of Corrientes and overlooking the Corriente River that only a few miles from there it flows into the Parana River. This beautiful lodge, with 6 rooms and 5 bathrooms, is the perfect getaway for the hunter. With a traditional argentine construction and thatched roofs, this former vacation home was outfitted to receive hunters from all over the world, offering an unforgettable experience for a mixed bag that not only includes doves, ducks, dorado fishing and partridges, but also adding pigeons to the adventure, becoming a returning point for many of our guests year after year.
Each day at Malalcue the day will start with a homemade breakfast and off to the field, where your guide will have everything ready for you to start an outstanding day. Depending on the activity, lunch may be served at the field or back at the lodge. The hunts are always done in different areas, where the islands predominate between the estuaries and become part of the landscape the Corriente River and the Parana River have to offer.
Rooms
All rooms are equipped with 2 twin size beds, heating and air conditioning and there are 5 bathrooms for the 6 rooms. The gun room is spacious and there you will also find a computer and a USA phone line.
Food and beverage
Malacue Lodge is no exception to great meals and enjoying the typical Argentinean barbecues. The galleries at the house invite you to have a drink and a “picada” before enjoying lunch at the deck overlooking the river.
At night you can still enjoy the galleria or relax by the fireplace before dinner. Don’t be surprised if each day the chef delights you with different types of meat done the Argentinean way and of course you will always be served the game you hunted, done in original ways and complemented with the famous Argentinean wines.
